New York Daily News Introduces Transportation And Logistics Career Expo
NEW YORK–The Daily News today announced the first Daily News Transportation and Logistics Career Expo, which will be held at the legendary Copacabana in Manhattan on Friday, April 13, 2007, from noon to 4 pm.
The Daily News Transportation and Logistics Career Expo is designed to meet the hiring needs of air cargo services, airlines, auto dealers and repair shops, car and truck rental companies, express delivery services, freight forwarders, logistics services (supply chain management, warehousing and distribution), manufacturers, marine shipping services, railroads, retailers, taxi and limousine services, and trucking companies (including moving, storage and specialty trucking).
This industry-specific recruiting platform enables employers to meet face-to-face with a large, diverse audience of qualified professionals in a wide range of fields – including auto repair, customer service, dispatch, distribution, drivers, fleet operations, ground operations, international shipping, inventory, leasing, logistics, loss prevention, management, mechanics, package handlers, sales, security, supply chain, technology, traffic and warehouse.
