The New York Taxi & Limousine Commission is proposing GPS tracking of taxis,
mandatory payment by credit/debit card & backseat monitor to play
ads for passengers–80% of whom are frequent-riding NYers.
Drivers are outraged by the technology, the $5,400 purchase price
& $175 monthly maintenance fee they would be forced to pay.
Support drivers in saying no to both “Big Brother” & income cuts
